BOOK CLUB
Join your sisters in this once a month book club and find new friends and new books to enjoy. Reading the book is not required to attend meetings. A small snack or appetizer to share is kindly requested but also not required. Books are selected based on attendee’s recommendations and books are chosen at the beginning of the spring and fall season. One book is selected for summer reading and is discussed at the first fall meeting. Meeting location, date, time and book for the month is found in our monthly newsletter and on the calendar page.
DELTAS AROUND DALLAS
We plan a variety of monthly events from cooking classes, wine tasting, a visit to the zoo, art shows, and many more! If you have a place you always wanted to go, please submit your ideas. Find exact details in the monthly newsletter and on the calendar page.
LUNCH BUNCH
Join your sisters at this once a month lunch fellowship meeting. No agenda except to connect with friends and discover new gal pals. Locations change, but the time is always 11:30-1PM. This is great for women who have time in the day for activities and can’t come to evening or nighttime events. Find exact details in each monthly newsletter and on the calendar page.
MOVIE WATCHERS
Want to watch a movie your family says no to? Or do you just dislike going to movies alone? Watch a movie with your sisters! This once a month club typically goes to the movies on Sundays. The monthly movie selection is emailed to the group in advance. We don’t limit this event to only Deltas, so bring your friend or child and enjoy the popcorn!
WINE & DINE
It’s exactly what you think, eat dinner and drink wine at a different restaurant each month. If you are new to Dallas and want to check out what great food Dallas has to offer, this is for you. If you have lived here forever and are in a food rut, come with us and explore restaurants you have driven by but never experienced. This is a perfect way to reconnect with friends and make new ones. YOUNG ALUMS
This group is aimed to bring together Deltas who have moved to Dallas after college and want to establish that new circle of friends. Events are geared towards happy hours at trendy restaurants and bars and new ideas are always appreciated. Even if you’ve been out of college for 20 years, have two kids and husband at home, if you are young at heart you will fit right in.
